Patients who require hour nursing care are housed in a licensed medical correctional treatment center CTC. CMF serves as a resource to the rest of CDCR and contracts with community consultants and hospital facilities to meet the complex needs of its inmate-patient population.

This facility provides both outpatient and inpatient mental health services for patients with a serious mental disorder. The institution is comprised of four separate, semi-autonomous facilities, a bed Administrative Segregation Unit, and a 16 bed Correctional Treatment Center.
